grandma makes pancakes!

While this isnt strickly our home, i thought it would be fun to post a pick of my Gran making us pancakes for shrove tuesday (or shrove sunday since thats when we had them, but in was in the spirit of shrove tuesday!)

New towels for the new house!

as usual i am re-to actively putting up these pics! bloody useless at doing this on time, oh well!

As a Christmas present my mum got us a bunch of john lewis vouchers! so we ran down to the sale and bought a matching set of brand new towels! HURRAH!

breaking news! out new kitchen units!

Normally I tend to post photos of our house a while after the work has happened, but nadine sent these pics to met his morning, and its very exciting.

Our Kitchen has been low on storage space for a while, and over Christmas, one of our shelves came crashing down, forcing us to address the issue.

so one trip to ikea later, we have 4 unassembles kitchen cupboards, and 2 shelves, plus various ikea style accessories!

we assembled the units ourselves, but hired a handyman in to attach them to the walls, so it was done properly.

The cupboard doors we are going to attach this evening. We also had the handy man, mount a computer monitor to the wall in the office! all in all a very productive morning!

Front of House

I Figured since I had a photo of this I should upload it, this is thefront of our house, well more acurrately the front of our development. I took this because I was making a note of all the parking spaces in front of our house and the notices for parking restrictions. It sounds boring, but we has some trouble when my gran came to visit and her car got towed! anyway, suffice to say this is what our immediate outside area looks like.

POM POM UPDATE

As you can see the pom pom rug is definately coming along, sad to say it wasnt finished in time for Christmas, but i shall have it done soon, its now about 2 foot sq, i want to make it at least double that!

The living room!

Before we tidied for Grandma's visit I took a few photos of our living room to show people how its coming along, and how it looks when its nice and tidy! (ironically at the time of posting this, the living room now looks completely different, but will show some updates when i get round to it!)

grandma's visit!

Well this post is a little out of date, but before christmas we had my grandma visit, big occasion, so I baked this large beef and guiness pie! impressive no?

Here is Nadine showing my gran some of her work on her laptop, as you can see my grans 'companion' mike, took a little nap!
